I am classically trained (and still in training!) in music – piano and voice (dramatic soprano); and dance – ballet, tap and jazz. I developed a love of classical music twenty years ago and continue to study as many pieces and composers as possible. As a former marketing and public relations director for the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, I’ve had a unique, behind-the-scenes look at what producing a concert, and a season, entails.
By day (and night), I am a professional freelance writer and corporate marketing and public relations consultant. I write literary and women’s fiction. Classical music is at the center of my upcoming novel. As a journalist, some of my non-fiction articles have focused on music, as well as the arts scene, women’s issues, business, social development, health and Victorian homes and lifestyle.
